Dar Schwanbeck is a Partner and Vice President with Redline Advisors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Dar specializes in customer satisfaction and performance improvement support, particularly helping clients understand client/customer expectations and positioning products and processes for market leadership.  Over the last twenty-five years, Dar has held consulting and executive positions in manufacturing, post-secondary education, marketing management, research, retailing and software development.  During the above period Dar also held teaching positions at The Universities of Alberta and Calgary.  He has delivered hundreds of client/customer satisfaction workshops and facilitated many product and process redesign teams. In a recent two-year posting Dar used a combination of clear goals, performance metrics, consistent follow-up and re-designed business processes to help an organization achieve record sales levels.

Dar has over twenty years management consulting experience: thirteen with Coopers & Lybrand (in marketing, total quality management, strategic planning, and feasibility studies) and ten with International Management Technologies (specializing in outcome-based strategic planning, process and performance improvement, product/market assessments, customer satisfaction and change management).  Dar's industry experience includes health care, education, wholesaling and distribution, manufacturing, utilities (electrical and telecommunications), tourism, recreation, retailing, agribusiness, oil and gas.

Dar is a Certified Management Consultant, has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the University of Alberta and a Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Calgary.  Dar has also completed extensive post-graduate work in health care, sales and marketing management, market research, customer satisfaction, and leadership development.
