Facilitated a revised strategic focus for the Southern Alberta Hostelling Association.
Assisted Skiing Louise with a review of Nakiska ski area market potential under different operating scenarios.
For the Calgary Airport Authority, directed a study examining customer attitudes toward user fees. Recommended a seamless fee collection process.
For Parks Canada, directed a study of "personal use fees" as a substitute for motor vehicle license fees.
Directed a market assessment and strategic planning study for Sunshine Village.
On behalf of major ski area lenders, undertook several market studies for ski areas in Western Canada.
Directed a study examining golf operations in Waterton National Park.
Undertook a brief review of the feasibility of developing a hotel and golf course in the British Virgin Islands.
On behalf of the Canadian Parks Service coordinated a project to assess market size, potential demand and various funding alternatives for the re-development of the Columbia Icefield Centre.
Directed two environmental "future scans" on behalf of the Canadian Parks Service. These studies looked at a range of areas from tourism to science and technology.
Assisted the Canadian Parks in assessing the feasibility of adding a ranch to their group of historic sites.
For Alberta Tourism developed a product marketing strategy for the four Rocky Mountain National Parks - Banff, Yoho, Kootenay and Jasper - and for the Region as a whole.
Undertook several assignments for the Canadian Olympic Office to determine marketing and merchandising programs for various facilities following the XV Olympic Games held in Calgary in 1988.
Directed a market and customer evaluation for the Edmonton Airport Authority. The information was used to formulate marketing strategy.
Assisted the Convention Facilities Committee to assess the market demand for and potential competition for expanded convention centre/trade show space in the City of Calgary.
Assisted the Canadian Parks Service to study the feasibility of constructing a "National Parks Plaza" in Vancouver.
Provided marketing assistance to an Alberta based guest ranch. The objective of the work was to identify key target markets and lead the development of suitable marketing programs.
